Upcoming Version 0.3.0
We are preparing version 0.3.0 of the Dataflow Modeller. The new version will have the following new features:
- Basic debugger facilities
- Support for all dataflow features including channels with multiple sinks and auto-concurrency
- Allows forward and backward stepping through a simulation of your model
- Easy navigation through your dataflow model
- Inspection of the status of processes and channels
- Support for control production rates equal to 0
- Updated examples to exploit the new features
- An extended core library for plugin developers
In addition, several bugs will be fixed
- Improved checks for process class conversions
- Ability to empty the text box of real and integer editors
- Improvements in Graph editor
- Improvements to serialization and deserialization
- Improved plugin for exporting to SDF3

An alpha version 0.3.0 has just been provided in the download area for all platforms. The Plugin Development Kit has also been updated accordingly.
Note that although the major version number has not been updated, the new Core Library has an updated & extended API. Moreover, the support for control production rates of 0 means that control production rates of 1 in models from previous versions are now interpreted as being 0 instead of 1. Manually updating the control production rates back to 1, will resolve the difference.
